So we’re heading up for the summer and whilst it’s tempting for us to rest in the sunshine we’re still as busy at Artful Splodgers building up the sessions, looking out for new ideas and equipment and making sure that you and your little ones get the very best from their Splodging sessions. Keep your eyes peeled for the new equipment and a few other changes in the next few months as toys on our wish list become reality!

Here are the dates and themes for the next half term of Artful Splodgers so that you have them as a handy reference.

We’ve added 6 extra holiday sessions for the summer holidays. Pop them on the calendar now so that you don’t miss out!

Thank you for filling in our recent questionnaire, we really value your ideas and opinions in how we run the groups. Please always feel free to let us know your comments and opinions at any point, not just when we would like to hear your ideas, we really do take them seriously.

Mix 125g of cornflour and 120ml of cold water in a bowl, mix and set aside. In a saucepan, add 250g salt and 240ml of hot water and bring to the boil. Add the cornflour and water mix and turn down to a low heat stirring constantly until the mixture is dry and thick. Remove from heat and let it cool. Great for hammering with although it is stickier than usual play dough.
